Jamaica Seek To Pass Off Guatemala

The selection of Jamaica wants to expand today at 5.00 pm supremacy over Guatemala, which urges 'win-win' out of the gutter that was after a disappointing debut in the eleventh edition of the Gold Cup
Jamaica showed in their opening victory at Granada (4-0) that his physical power allows you to compensate for the lack of technical quality and that the aim of the gifted men is like a dagger to his opponents, while Guatemala was to balance red finished scoreless and with only nine players clash against Honduras (0-0).
Could be worse for the Guatemalans, but for the coach, Paraguayan Ever Hugo Almeida, increasing concern at the figures that favor their next opponent.
The selection of Guatemala is still one of the favorite victims of the 'Reggae Boyz', who have won eight of the twelve games they have played and have tied two others.
In the common story in the Gold Cup, Jamaica has won all three games he has played with Guatemala. The last edition was in 2005, a 4-3 in the group stage.
The 'Reggae Boyz' staged at a Granada football match without quality, but they were not messy to overtake its rival limited.
The former player and now coach of Jamaica, Theodore Whitmore, said his team was always in control of the ball against Granada and that it probably will not happen to Guatemala, although staying with just nine men after 79 minutes, got a creditable goalless draw against Honduras.
"Not all teams can get a draw with two men less and more than 16 minutes to play," said Whitmore.
Jamaican coach believes are most important to the party for them because a win would put them in the quarterfinals and not have to get to the third against Honduras with no pressure.
The way the team responded makes Whitmore does not intend any change in the starting lineup.
The Paraguayan Almeida, who heads the selection 'clog', admitted that if they want to get something better to Jamaica, to be overcome.
"The attitude of the team was phenomenal, but to win games against teams like Jamaica, which also has great physical potential, we must overcome our technical game, good ball feel and control," he said.

However, Paraguay's coach is aware that the mission is not easy especially when you will work in the search for the two players who can cover absences forced the defenders Gustavo Cabrera and Henry Medina, both expelled and forced to comply with one-game suspension.
"I hope all the players who have been with the team and we'll have to replace the two that did a great job of delivery and fight like the rest of the team," he added.
Almeida declined to give clues to the variations introduced in his eleven Itula.
There is already talk of the young Elias Enoc Vasquez, who could make his debut with the team when on Friday to jump to the synthetic grass FIU Stadium in Miami.
Factor that most Jamaicans favor because the ball will move faster and are experts at it, thanks to his physical power and bulk.
